On June 30, 2025, Yuan Jun, general manager of Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., led a core team to visit Shandong Superwatt Power Tech Co., Ltd. for an inspection and investigation, focusing on in-depth exchanges on oilfield special power equipment and gas engine market layout. The visit aims to promote resource complementarity and strategic cooperation between the two sides in the field of oil and gas energy, and help the industry develop greener and more efficient.
Accompanied by Ji Mingjian, General Manager of Superwatt Power, General Manager Yuan Jun and his delegation visited SWT intelligent digital production line and gained an in-depth understanding of the customized solutions of SWT diesel and methanol generator sets in oil field scenarios. At the same time, they inspected the gas generator set test platform to learn about SWT technological breakthroughs and energy efficiency performance in natural gas, biogas and other gas power systems.
General Manager Yuan Jun highly recognized the achievements of SWT in adaptability to high altitude/extreme cold environments, oil and gas field project cases, etc. He also paid special attention to the outstanding performance of the intelligent production line in improving product quality consistency and production efficiency, and praised SWT quality control system that achieves full-process traceability of products through intelligent manufacturing.
At the symposium, the two sides reached consensus on the following topics:
• Market synergy: Integrate Cummins’ global oil and gas customer resources and SWT localized service network to jointly develop domestic and foreign oilfield and gas projects;
• Technical complementarity: Jointly develop hybrid solutions for distributed energy scenarios;
• Low-carbon transformation: Explore cooperative paths for low-carbon upgrades of gas engines and biomass energy applications.
